Today I am here to blog about the recent progress on my paper prototype. I have about ten screens with 4 being the basics; such as title, instructions, and the losing and winning screens.
I think I have done a very good job on my prototype I left room to backtrack as well as expand. For example I have made plenty of different obstacles to choose from, in case I don't have time to make them all. I am looking forward to filming and posting my prototype, so I can get this troublesome process over with. I remember last year we had a variety of interruptions from no internet to snow days and announcements coming on when we were in the middle of filming it. Looking back I am positive this is my longest post yet.

The game I plan to make is a racing game, which is basically what southpark8787 and I tried to make last year with the 3 branaches, and it didn't turn out so well. Anyway I hope that I can redeem myself this year by making a "better" racing-type game this year. I think the hard to explain part of our game's function is the complication of the government, I mean it is usually unnecessary for it to be so complicated, so as to common people could understand some of the terms they use such as cloture. I chose We Shall Rebuild by SHAUNDYE! at GEHS as an educational and informative game. Due to the fact that in deals with how to clean up a disaster area. I also think that it would have an impact on people who played the game, to make it feel closer to home and more signifigant. Its educational value is how people heal a disaster area. But, the main reason I chose We Shall Rebuild is because some other games were poor in quality and substance incuding our own.

Our flash game is based on the three banches of government, as if you didn't already know. Its name is THE THREE BRANCHES. My partner isn't here today so I am left to explain to you how it works. We have the basic idea, and it is a bill is thought up and you might get to chose what it is and its name (we are not sure we will put that in the game yet.) Then you must begin your long journey to D.C. where it could be passed as a law. The game will include quizzes on the government as well as "play through" levels. Then you, the bill are passed as a law and win the game, whoooo-hoooooo!!!!!!
